Summer camp offers kids a unique experience to make friends, have fun, and keep their minds active and engaged. At Greentree preschool, we have seen the value of our immersive and inclusive programming through preschool we’ve expanded the opportunities for your family to take part in our summer program for kids!

Just like our other programs, our summer camp includes a wide variety of activities for your child to participate in. From art classes to field trips, your little one will have a blast and gain skills and educational building blocks that can benefit them throughout the year.

Art, Drama, and Yoga Classes

Whether your child is a budding artist or they are still exploring the different art forms, we’re sure they’ll have a blast with our summer camp art classes. They’ll be able to try painting, drawing, and sculpture to tickle their creativity, exercise their motor skills, and learn something new. Our instructors will introduce them to landscape, still life, and fantasy painting, and your little one will have the opportunity to engage in three dimensions with wooden pieces such as spoons and wooden boxes.

Athletics

Summer is the perfect time to encourage kids to explore the outdoors and keep them active! Our summer camp program includes many athletic activities, from swimming and hiking to sports like soccer, tennis, and basketball. We also include periods of free play where your child can explore the world around them, make friends, and create their own games!

Educational Field Trips

The Greentree preschool summer program gives kids an opportunity to expand their horizons and experience learning beyond the walls of a classroom. Field trips to parks, farms, and the zoo are included in our summer camp curriculum, and we also visit museums like the National Gallery of Art, the Library of Congress, and the Smithsonian.
